Nine River Road is looking for its next Innkeeper - the role is responsible for overseeing all operations of a cozy 8 room inn. You will be welcoming guests, setting out breakfast, handling special requests, and managing the housekeeping for the property, including regular hands-on housekeeping and organizing spaces. We’re looking for an Innkeeper who will take ownership of this special property and effectively utilize the resources and support provided by the wider Foster Supply team

**What You’ll Do**:

- Lead on all day to day operations of the property.
- Be prepared for guest arrival by reviewing guest notes and ensuring all relevant amenities and rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
- Ensure that all company initiatives are properly implemented.
- Welcome guests and provide tours of the building and give an overview of key moments during their stay (space activations, breakfast window, seasonal notes, etc.).
- Ensure that guest amenities such as water and snack stations, s’mores kits, etc. are available and attended to at the appropriate time by enforcing checklists and empowering other team members.
- Facilitate and work with our Guest Specialist team to ensure all guest requests are met and exceeded.
- Ensure that the physical spaces of Nine River Road are ready for guests and that guest amenities are in place for guests’ stays.
- Review daily check in documents and prepare room keys, print welcome notes, and place guest amenities into the room as needed.
- Prepare guest amenities for common spaces (s’mores kits, seasonal outdoor kits, etc.)
- Respond to guest needs in real time (room changes, additional amenity requests, special requests, etc.) either through direct feedback or through working with the property’s Experience Specialist.
- Clean guest rooms and common areas.
- Complete daily, weekly, and seasonal checklists to allow our guests and team to make use of a clean, well maintained property.
- Replenish used towels, change linens, make beds, empty trash.
- Attend to laundry. Washing, folding, and organizing bedding & linens.
- Maintain a relationship with the laundry service provider and identify and correct issues
- Inspect hotel rooms and ensure they are ready for check ins.
- Perform other cleaning and occasional deep cleaning of property as needed.
- Manage additional housekeeping team member(s).
- Train and onboard new hires.
- Manage performance of team member(s), inclusive of administering performance reviews write ups, etc.
- Prepare and publish a weekly schedule for housekeeping at the property.
- Prepare schedules with an awareness to weekly labor budgets.
- Maintain an orderly inventory of cleaning supplies, amenity items, food and beverage offerings, and paper products; and replenish supplies as needed.
- Be an active and engaged member of the FSH Leadership Team, setting an example in striving for operational excellence, being committed to attention to detail, and instilling discipline.
- Be accessible out of service hours for meetings, training sessions, leadership gatherings, team building activities, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety protocols

Mostly indoors - guest rooms, common spaces, and laundry room. Traveling outside between buildings in all weather conditions may sometimes be required. The Innkeeper also works with various cleaning products and other chemical agents, some of which may be hazardous - personal protective equipment must be worn.

**Physical Requirements**:
This position can be physically demanding. Walking up and down stairs may be required. Requires the ability to be on one’s feet for long periods at a time. Carrying/balancing food and beverage. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

This Foster Supply Hospitality property is pet-friendly. FSH team members are expected to be able to work in an environment that regularly hosts dogs and other pets.
