**Job description**

**Summary**

Yahara Bay Distillers currently has a part-time employment opportunity for an enthusiastic, savvy person excited to operate a unique bar program.

We are looking for someone to build and manage a super-premium spirits retail and cocktail bar program. This position will take strong leadership and interpersonal skills accompanied by exceptional customer service and commitment to company values.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

You will grow and lead a team to prep, bar-back, make and serve cocktails, be a brand ambassador, and host with the goal of providing your tasting room guests an exceptional experience.

You will maintain inventory of beverages, mixers, and supplies to ensure adequate levels.

You will merchandise, set displays, uphold general cleanliness, and organization.

You will research, develop, and prepare high quality cocktail beverages and menus, and sell Yahara Bay products through innovative retail programs.

You will report directly to the President of the Distillery and work with the entire distillery team as you develop and run the bar program.

**Skills**

Having experience with Clover point-of-sale system is a plus.

You’ll need extensive understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, mixers, and garnishes.

You’ll need to have knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance (ServSafe Certified a plus).

You’ll bring knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in a hospitality setting.

**Compensation**

Base pay rates vary depending on experience. Generous commission and benefits.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
