Primary Responsibilities:

- Administer and manage grants and government contracts from pre-award through closeout.
- Ensure compliance with grant and contract requirements, regulations, and guidelines.
- Prepare contracts budgets and modifications, monitor budgets ensuring expenses align with approved budgets.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate invoices to funding agencies, including monthly expenses and salary allocations reports and supporting documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for funders regarding grant and contract matters and the organizational representative for the grants and procurement platforms.
- Coordinate with program team to gather necessary documentation and data to compile and submit required financial and programmatic reports to funders.
- Track and monitor progress on grant and contract deliverables, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Work with finance team to reconcile accounts and manage detailed financial records and documentation for audits and reviews.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized grant and contract files.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and minimum 3-5 years progressive experience in grants and contracts administration, including government contracts in a nonprofit setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Prior experience with New York State and New York City government contracts preferred.

Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
