**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team at My Net Security.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pull Cat5/6, COAX, Audio and Video cables, in offices, residential buildings, commercial buildings, new construction
- Install racks and patch panels
- Terminate cables on both ends, such as in patch panels and keystone jack
- Know how to install security cameras, wireless access points, speakers, TVs
- Know how to read floor plans and follow wiring paths as provided. It is understood that the provided paths may not always work as specified, therefore, critical thinking is a must so that an alternate path can be thought of and decided upon on the spot
- Label all cable runs

**Requirements**:

- Must not be allergic to pets
- Not be afraid of heights as some jobs require to get on 16ft ladders or work on rooftops
- Team work
- Prepping, packing, and maintaining necessary tools for the job
- Communication and documentation with lead tech or project manager
- Ability to read drawings
- Safety and OSHA awareness
- Experience with power tools
- Able to travel
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to learn
- Clean up after each visit

**Details**:

- Job Type: Full-Time
- 40 hours per week
- Some after-hours work - paid at 1.5 X hourly rate
- Pay: Starting at $20/hour

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate in Low Voltage or related field preferred
- Proficiency in locksmithing techniques
- Experience with fire alarm systems is a plus
- Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with NEC codes and standards

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
