Floor Care Technician

**Floor Care Technician (Evenings): Tekonsha, MI**

Schedule is flexible, but would generally be Tuesday-Saturday, start time of 5pm for a shift of 8-10 hours based on building needs.

**Employee must be willing to work weekend shifts as needed.**

**$17 per per hour (pay based on experience)**

This person will accompany our Floor team to scheduled building locations to complete floor care consisting of stripping, waxing, or carpet care.

Valid driver's license and steel toed shoes will be required.

The Floor Care Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of floor care equipment in assigned location(s). _Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role is required_

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, waxing, and refinishing.
- Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
- Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
- Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.

Must be 18 years or older, able to lift 50lbs, handle repetitive motion on a daily which may include bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, lifting, and squatting.
