Industrial Fabric Cutter

Responsibilities:
Must be able to lay out measure and to cut fabric according to specified patterns and measurements
- Inspect fabric for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Cuting vinyl and canvas fabrics
- Follow instructions and specifications to ensure accurate cutting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate cutting machines

- Ability to read and interpret patterns and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cutting fabric
- Knowledge of fabric types and their properties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with other team members
- Reads work order to determine dimensions, cutting locations and quantity to cut
- Unrolls, lays out material on cutting table.

**Skills**:

- Able to read and understand measuring tape and rulers
- Ability to draft, cut, sew, and fabricate
- Must have three years experience working with Industrial fabrics
- Familiarity with different types of fabrics and their characteristics
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with cutting equipment or fabric

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
