Voter Registration Canvasser

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Canvasser to join our team. As a Canvasser, you will play a crucial role in engaging with the public and promoting our organization's initiatives. **Duties**:

- Conduct on-field canvassing to engage with residents and provide information about our organization's mission and goals
- Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds to build rapport and gather feedback
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and providing accurate information
- Collaborate with team members to achieve campaign goals and targets
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills to persuade individuals to support our cause
- Experience in door-to-door canvassing or similar field work is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle objections effectively
- Sales experience is beneficial but not required
