Van Driver

**About Us**:The Intercultural Community Center (ICC) is a nonprofit based in Westbrook that provides free education, health, and social services and resources to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Our Adult Program supports New Mainers with English classes, educational workshops, and case management. We are seeking an enthusiastic driver to provide transportation to our Adult Program students to/from ICC and support the growth of our Adult Program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide transportation services (pick up and drop off) to our Adult Program students
- Manage daily routes around Westbrook and Portland through Google maps
- Maintain the gas and general cleanliness of the van
- Work effectively and communicate openly in a team environment
- Knowledgeable with Google Suite platforms (Google docs and Google sheets etc) and Microsoft Office
- A smart-phone with Google Maps capacity
- Multilingual language ability a major plus
- Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be a safe driver and comfortable driving a 12 passenger van within the Westbrook and Portland area
- Experience working with immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers and/or open-mindedness to support New Mainers
- Be friendly, open-minded, and adaptable

**Schedule**:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 AM-2:30 PM.

**Compensation**:This position works year round at an hourly rate of $20 from 24-28 hours per week. ICC part-time positions are considered at-will employment and do not offer other benefits that include insurance, retirement plans, additional compensation, paid sick leave or holidays off.
