**Main Purpose of Job**:
The main purpose of this full-time position will be to provide psychosocial treatment and services to children and families of the school-based health centers. This position will support the mission of SMCHD in promoting a healthy community in St. Mary's County by responding to the overwhelming need for expanded behavioral health services for children in St. Mary's County. This position will also provide comprehensive professional clinical assessment, referral/coordination of care, direct treatment, case management, advocacy, crisis intervention and other services to persons and families presenting with emotional, behavioral related types of problems.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the requirements for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

**Experience**: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the requirements for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

**Note**: These requirements are established by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. The Department of Budget and Management, Office of Personnel Services and Benefits does not have the authority to accept substitutions or equivalents.
