Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients in various healthcare settings. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the well-being and comfort of our patients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established care plans and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Perform catheterization and wound care as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare procedures and self-care techniques

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience working with children, including infant care
- Proficient in specimen collection and processing techniques
- Ability to catheterize and provide catheter care
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation
- Excellent patient care skills, including empathy, compassion, and patience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Requirements**:

- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California
- CPR certification
- Prior experience in home care or a healthcare facility is preferred - Graduated from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing/ Licensed Practical Nursing program.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, PRN

Pay: $48,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
