Design Strategist, Lead
**Key Role**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
- 7+ years of experience in design strategy and service design
- Experience with design thinking, design research, business design, or customer experience strategy
- Experience with supporting client-facing projects
- Experience with working on an end-to-end service design project
- Experience with using facilitation techniques in different environments
- Experience with ethnographic fieldwork, generative research, and making sense of qualitative and quantitative data
- Experience with creating implementation plans for service and digital solutions
- Experience with client negotiation and setting expectations against real-world limitations
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
**Additional Qualifications**:
- Experience with prototyping, including sketching or using tools, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Omnigraffle, or Visio
- Experience with Illustration work or creative visualization and communication of data from generative research, insights, and findings
- Ability to submit a portfolio
- Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
