Janitorial Supervisor

Summary

**40 HOUR SHIFT**

**Qualifications**
- Janitorial/Maintenance Service: 5 years (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience (preferred) as either a cleaner or janitor of mall, or office building in Long Island (Hicksville)
- Willing to work off hours including nights and weekends in case of emergencies

**Duties**:

- Supervisor of daily cleaning activities
- Inspect all public areas and offices to ensure they meet established standards for cleanliness and appearance.
- Respond to client and management requests
- Ability to follow the daily, weekly, monthly schedules for cleaning operations, including assigning tasks and setting priorities.
- Able to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
- Ability to effectively communicate to employees, clients, tenants, and general public
- Conduct weekly and monthly supply inventory & control.
- Accurately report weekly payroll.
- Knowledgeable in all types of cleaning equipment.
- Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Must be able to read and write.

**Must have experience with**:

- Deep Cleaning of commercial building/facilities
- Reporting deficiencies and/or any safety hazards to Management so they can be reported to the client.
- Taking before and after photos of work and submitting daily reports
- Construction cleanups
- Carpet extractions
- Strip and Wax, Buffing floors
- Pressure washing
- Window cleaning
- Hi-low dusting
- General office cleaning
- Training and recruitment of cleaning staff
- Reporting hours to payroll

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
