**FLAG FOOTBALL COORDINATOR**

The Football Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing an appropriate instructional Football Fundamentals program for students of various ages, grades, abilities and educational and social needs and a Flag Football League program.

**MAJOR POSITION DUTIES**
- Wear clean clothing in good repair, appropriate for instructing football.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class time. Punch-in on smartphone app.
- Examine and evaluate the safety of the field and equipment.
- Set-up field as necessary for the day’s class/games
- Communicate with students, parents, coaches and other staff in a professional manner.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning of objectives.
- Provide a variety of learning activities using appropriate materials and resources to facilitate student learning.
- Instruct and monitor students/players in the use of all equipment.
- Monitor student performance and progress, and use the information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Provide appropriate feedback to students and parents on student performance, progress and needs.
- Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures. Provide appropriate discipline as needed.
- Maintain accurate, legible attendance records on the attendance form. Submit completed attendance forms to Recreation Department Office at the completion of the course.
- Clean-up the field and store equipment at the completion of each day’s class/games.
- Punch-out on smartphone app at the completion of the day’s classes.
- Report incidents and concerns to the Recreation Program Manager in a timely manner.
- Attend all necessary program meetings
- Other duties as assigned by the Recreation Program Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**(ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)**
- Advanced Knowledge of Football and associated skills and strategies.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to follow Kaukauna Recreation Department Time & Attendance procedures.
- Prior coaching/teaching experience is preferred.

**ENVIONMENTAL CONDITIONS**
- Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, bend, lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sustain prolonged visual concentration.
- Ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to endure a variety of weather and temperature conditions for prolonged periods of time.

**PAY**
- $22.23 PER HOUR
