OSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in providing administrative and inside sales support to our customers, ensuring seamless interactions, and facilitating the sales process. The Sales Support Specialist will report directly to the Director of Business Development and will collaborate closely with various departments within the organization, including parts, service, and production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries regarding product details, including quotes, lead times, and specifications.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the sales team, ensuring all communication is handled professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively address customer needs and inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and resources to fulfill customer requests.
- Monitor and manage customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Microsoft products and Salesforce to maintain accurate records and track customer interactions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for business development and communicate them to the Director of Business Development.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with outside sales representatives and supporting their efforts as needed.
- Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to see the big picture and recognize opportunities beyond immediate tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
