Ruffin’ It Pet Resort is a family owned, growing pet boarding and daycare facility in the Metro Detroit area Our company offers flexible work scheduling for college students, career advancement opportunities and a truly enjoyable working environment

This is a part-time position working approximately 25-30 hours per week, with starting pay ranging from $11-14 per hour. Pay is to be determined based on experience.

Shifts are between the hours of 6:30 am - 7:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Weekends and holidays have various shifts. Previous experience is welcome, but not necessary.
- **Job duties will include but are not limited to the following**:_

*Supervise & play with dogs in the indoor & outdoor play areas

*Comfortably handle all types and sizes of dogs while unleashed or leashed

*Maintain cleanliness (including sweeping, mopping, picking up after pets, disinfecting and dishwashing) of lobby/common areas, play areas and kennels to ensure a safe and clean environment

*Customer service while checking dogs in/out of day care and boarding

*Prepare meals for dogs as required & replenish water bowls

*Adhere to company policies and direction-including policies on vaping/smoking on company property and mobile devices

*All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required by Ruffin’ It management
- **Job Qualifications**:_

*Must have a love for dogs, be confident & able to handle all sizes

*Able to lift 40-50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time

*Possess strong work ethic and consistent punctuality

*Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions without distractions

*Team Player, dependable, hardworking, and able to communicate effectively

*Availability to work weekends and holidays

*If needed, be able to transport pet to local vet in case of emergency using personal vehicle
- **Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid drivers license, and have your own transportation**_
- **No phone calls, only accepting resumes**_

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
