**UN**COMN **is seeking a **Quality Control Specialist (ISTQB)** to:

- Engage with development and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle to uphold quality standards from initial requirements to final deployment and maintenance.
- Review and interpret quality reports to address and rectify quality concerns.
- Identify and implement process improvements to elevate overall product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure all products and processes comply with stringent quality and safety standards, maintaining a strong track record of effective problem-solving and quality assurance.
- Document test cases, test plans, and quality reports.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay informed about the latest industry practices and technological advancements to continuously enhance quality assurance methods.

**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of related experience with a proven track record of solving technical problems effectively and ensuring that products/services and processes meet quality and safety standards.- Prior automated testing experience utilizing Robot, Python, and/or Selenium.- Understanding of development and engineering concepts and principles.- Familiarity with different stages of the SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve defects or quality issues.- Exposure to Static Code Analysis tools (Coverity preferred) with the ability to access and read scanning reports.- Exposure to project management and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence.- Excellent communication skills.
- **Must obtain the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification within 90 days of starting.**:

- **Must hold an active Secret clearance, granted by the US Government.**

**Preferred**- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related.- Prior Experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) software testing and/or developing automated software tests.- Prior experience in Agile Scrum Master training and/or an active SAFe Agilist or CSM certification.- Hands-on experience with Coverity.
