National Canvas is a marine canvas and upholstery company experiencing rapid growth in the South Florida boating community. We have been in operation since 1974 and specialize in crafting high-quality custom canvas covers, upholstery, and enclosures for a diverse range of vessels, from personal watercraft to luxury yachts. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment including the Prodim Proliner, Rhino 3D, and CNC machines to fabricate the highest quality canvas and upholstery products in the region. There is a lot of autonomy given to each individual role, and we trust our employees to work collaboratively and independently to deliver high-quality marine upholstery products. **Position Overview**:
We are seeking a craftsman/technician to join our team and contribute to our continued success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from fabricating custom canvas covers to repairing and installing upholstery for boats of all sizes. You will collaborate closely with our team to ensure that each project meets our exacting standards of quality and craftsmanship. Prior experience is preferred but not required, as long as you are committed to learning. Our office hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate, repair, and install custom canvas covers, upholstery, and enclosures for boats.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that each project is tailored to their specifications.
- Collaborate with our team to brainstorm innovative solutions and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in marine canvas fabrication, upholstery, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Prior experience with Proliner, CNC machines, and/or Rhino 3D is preferred but not required.

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
