Bear Mountain, United States NYS Parks - Palisades Region Full time

Palisades Region lifeguards are needed for beaches and pools at the following locations:

- Harriman State Park, Lake Welch Beach
- Harriman State Park, Lake Tiorati Beach
- Minnewaska State Park Preserve, Beach
- Rockland Lake State Park, Pool
- Bear Mountain State Park, Pool

The summer season is from June 17 to September 2. The position is full time, 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week; shift times vary. There are also part time weekend positions available at Lake Welch and Rockland Lake. Minimum age for applicants is 15 yrs old. Weekends and Holidays are MANDATORY.

PRIOR to employment, you must have acceptable and current certifications in the following American Red Cross courses:

- Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED....please note that if you need to get certified, a class will be held for those interested in working at our pools and beaches.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $23.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Lifeguard: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- First Aid/CPR/Lifeguarding Certification (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Bear Mountain, NY: Relocate before starting work (required)
