**About the Job:
**_Kent is hiring a Material Controller to support the Golden Pass LNG Project within our CCSU business unit, working closely alongside our client and with support of the wider Kent group to provide material management services for the projec_**_t._

**Your responsibilities**:

- This position reports to the Material Lead.
- Complies with all HSE policies and procedures and participates in safety audits and walk-downs.
- Interfaces with Engineering and Construction personnel in the development of material take-offs.
- Interfaces with Craft, Scheduling and Procurement to ensure materials are available to support construction activities.
- Reports to Management identified material constraints and takes action to negate impact to the schedule.
- Issue weekly material status reports to Company and Client.
- Interfaces with Engineering and Quality to develop and issue Material Purchase Request and Oracle Purchase Requisition.
- Ensures Material Purchase Request are sent for Client and Company approval.
- Collaborates with Craft in developing warehouse Pick Slips for requesting and material.
- Issues Pick Slips to warehouse for picking and staging.
- Monitors Min-Max inventory to ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Your knowledge, skills, and experience**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control methods, procedures and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

**Your Qualifications**
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field is preferred.
- 5 years’ experience as a material controller in the oil and gas industry.
