Schutz Container System is a Global Packaging container company located in Pasadena, TX is currently searching for a Fleet Manager.

**Fleet Manager**.

**Responsibilities**:

- The fleet manager will assist Corporate Logistics in design and development of private fleet (trailer and yard truck).
- The fleet manager will be Purchasing and maintaining vehicles for deliveries.
- Assisting in the recruitment of quality yard drivers.
- Registering and licensing all vehicles.
- Optimize fleet to cut costs and maximize profits.
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
- Complying with U.S. Department of Transport laws and regulations.
- Corporate oversight of vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
- Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
- Utilizing GPS systems to monitor and track vehicles.
- Act as back-up to National Transportation and Logistics Manager

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years in a logistics role including fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- SkyBitz
- Microsoft Excel
- SAP must be a plus

Pay: $49,206.05 - $59,258.89 per year
