**HOURS**:
8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday

**SALARY**:
$ 15.00 hourly

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Assists in repairing and replacement of drainage tiles, manhole structures, catch basins, and facility equipment using

a variety of hand tools, trash pumps and hoses, pneumatic tools, and small power operating equipment.
- Performs maintenance on green infrastructure
- Performs water quality sampling
- Assist in activities relevant to removal, construction and maintenance of manholes including sandblasting and
- painting
- Assists in the installation of sewer lines and access manhole structures
- Ability to drive pick-up with utility trailer
- Performs landscaping duties such as grading slopes, seeding, cutting grass, trimming branches, and removing trees
- and stumps from drainage ditches
- Enter confined spaces safely using OSHA required methods
- Performs construction work such as building concrete forms, shoveling, leveling, measuring, and use of hammers
- Spreads and rakes hot and cold patch asphalt mix and other paving materials to proper thickness and grade on
- roadways
- Moves equipment/materials to and from job site to include loading and unloading of same (air compressors,
- packers, jackhammers)
- Performs heavy lifting on regular basis
- Uses two-way radio to communicate to and from job site
- Assists in the operation of sewer rodding, televising, and cleaning equipment
- Operates jack hammers and operates portable air compressor
- Perform housekeeping and custodial work

**JOB STANDARDS**:

- 18 years of age or older
- Must hold a valid State of Indiana driver’s license and demonstrate a safe driving record
