Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Provide companionship to client.
- Provide personal care, Incontinence care, assistance with activities of daily living.
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation. Assist client with medication reminders.
- Provide support for mobility, transfers, and positioning to client.
- Should be able to work in a household that has pets and with a client who smokes.
- Encourage and support client to maintain as much independence as possible.
- Adhere to care plans crafted by our RN.
- Maintain care-notes for accurate and timely records of care.
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Must have active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in New Jersey.
- At least one year of proven experience in delivering personal care.
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for fostering positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation for visiting client at their home.
- Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to delivering exceptional care.

Additional Requirements:

- Updated physical examination and PPD (tuberculosis) test completed within the last 12 months.
- Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination.
- Valid Social Security Number (SSN) and valid Immigration Documents, as applicable.
