Responsibilities: - Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order - Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and ensure the security of individuals and property - Respond to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents - Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses - Arrest and detain suspects as necessary - Write detailed reports documenting incidents and activities - Testify in court proceedings as needed Skills: - Law enforcement: Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures related to law enforcement activities - Leadership: Ability to take charge in challenging situations and make sound decisions - Conflict management: Skill in resolving conflicts and deescalating tense situations - CPR: Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for emergency medical response - Surveillance: Ability to monitor and observe individuals or areas for suspicious activity - Animal handling: Experience in safely handling animals encountered during law enforcement duties - Loss prevention: Knowledge of techniques to prevent theft or loss of property - Report writing: Proficiency in accurately documenting incidents, investigations, and other activities Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
