Position Overview

Operates assigned equipment used in executing metal finishing operations by performing the following duties.

Shifts:
**1st Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm (MON-FRI) - US$19.75/h**

**2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm (MON-FRI) - US$23.25/h**

**4th Shift: 6 am to 6 pm (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) - US$19.75/h**

*Sign-on bonus after 90 days (based on performance/attendance)

**Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload tote pans of parts, stacks parts in baskets, racks and/or barrels, racks, unracks, clean, etches, desmuts, pickles, bright -dips dyes, degreases, heat treats, plates, coats, wet processes and dries parts.
- Use electric hoists and manual lifting.
- Following prescribed procedures for processing.
- Fill baskets, racks, and/or barrels with parts to be processed and lowers material into the appropriate tank.
- Remove parts when the process is completed.
- Maintain cleanliness of tanks and work areas.
- Monitor the temperature of solutions.
- Maintain daily production logs. Physically inspects processing to ensure quality of product. May be required to perform general utility work, material handling, assist with chemical handling and solution maintenance and record keeping as needed.
- May be asked to troubleshoot simple to moderate problems.
- Is responsible for quality of product produced.

**Requirements**:

- High school or (GED)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, and percent.
- Must have a basic understanding of chemistry as it applies to the job, and the ability to solve problems.
- Stand and reach with hands and arms regularly.
- Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear Occasionally.
- Lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Required.

Pay: $19.75 - $34.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
