We're looking for a dedicated, hard-working Houseperson who will be responsible for assisting room attendants and responding to guest calls.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications:
- Preferably 6 months experience in cleaning or janitorial related field
- Wear uniform per hotel standards; adhere to professional grooming standards
- Clean common areas per hotel standards and hotel provided training
- Straighten furniture
- Empty trash and recycling bins in all public spaces
- Check stairwells for debris and trash
- Ensure all equipment in fitness room is clean and functional
- Wipe down surfaces and clean microwave in employee break area
- Engage every guest in conversation and recognition
- Resolve any guest issue immediately
- Promote the hotel by demonstrating high level of positive attitude and energy to serve our guests
- Ability to anticipate guests needs
- Represents the hotel to the guest throughout any stage of the guest's stay
- Embraces and respects diversity and multicultural environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
**Skills**:
- At least average oral communication
- Requires walking and repetitive motions, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pound
