Interior Designer with Construction Background

Job Summary:
Levant Luxury Homes was founded with a goal to become the leader in luxury living & developments. Levant Luxury offers a wide variety of construction services focused on high-end and luxury developments whether it’s building custom homes, spec homes, or high-end multi-family developments.

The Interior designer with construction background is expected to have minimum of 5 years hands on experience in the high end custom residential developments.

**Duties**:

- Direct on site construction crews to ensure the actual finishes match the proposed Architectural and Interior design plans.
- Oversee the implementation of designs.
- Collaborate with the company's construction managers to ensure the teams are fully informed about the project details.
- Create detailed design plans using software such as CAD and Sketchup as needed.
- Select materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories for each project as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Present design proposals to clients and make necessary revisions based on feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in interior design

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or associate degree in Interior Design or related field
- Proven experience in interior design projects
- Proven experience in construction projects
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools like Sketchup
- Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

- Weekends as needed

- Houston, TX: Relocate before starting work (required)
