**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership**:

- Lead and supervise a team of dispatchers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance at all locations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.

**Resource Allocation**:

- Efficiently allocate vehicles, equipment, and personnel to meet daily operational demands.
- Monitor and adjust dispatch schedules based on changing priorities and emergencies.

**Logistics**:

- Ensure the regular updating and maintenance of the trucking calendar on Outlook, encompassing both commercial and company trucks.
- Maintain a daily run sheet for all sales and rental materials transported.

**Communication**:

- Maintain clear and open communication channels with drivers, field personnel, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding service delivery and address any concerns or issues promptly.

**Fleet Management**
- Facilitate negotiations for truck leasing agreements.
- Diligently maintain all pertinent trucking documents.

**Optimization of Routes**:

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reducing travel time and improving fuel efficiency.
- Utilize technology and route planning tools to enhance dispatch operations.

**Performance Tracking**:

- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of dispatch operations.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly trucking reports to the management team.

**Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Keep abreast of industry regulations and recommend adjustments to policies as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in dispatch management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation logistics and route optimization.
- Familiarity with dispatch software and tracking systems.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards.

**Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
