Collection Agent

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Collection Agent to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Collection Agent is to manage overdue accounts and collect outstanding debts from customers.
**Pay**:
$15-$16/hr + Commission + Bonuses
**Hours/Shift**:
- Monday - Friday (3 days will be an 8am-5pm shift, 2 days will be a 10am-7pm shift)
- Every other Saturday (If you work on Saturday your day off will be during the week)
- Sundays: Always off
*Subject to change based on business needs
**Duties**:
- Contact customers to discuss their overdue payments and negotiate payment plans
- Utilize financial software to track accounts and update payment information
- Collaborate with the billing department to resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate account records and perform account reconciliation
**Qualifications**:
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers to secure payments
- Previous experience in call centers or customer service
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
