Dog Kennel Attendant

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions within the kennels and surrounding dog run areas.
- Provide daily care for 10 to 15 dogs, including feeding, administering medication (if required), and ensuring general well-being.
- Engage in extensive physical activities with the dogs, including long walks and exercise routines tailored to each dog's needs and health status.
- Manage indoor and outdoor transitions, ensuring safe and orderly movement of dogs to various exercise and rest areas.
- Monitor and report on the health and behavior of the dogs, communicating any concerns or irregularities to the residence manager or owner.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable experience in handling multiple dogs in a kennel or similar environment.
- Outgoing and energetic personality with a strong work ethic and a love for outdoor activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role that includes exposure to sun and heat.
- Dependable and punctual with a track record of showing up on time and maintaining a consistent schedule.
- Passionate about animal welfare, particularly canine care, with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate service.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in animal care or veterinary assistance.
- Previous experience in a private residence or specialized kennel setting.
- First aid knowledge specific to canines.

Pay: $14.35 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
