Custodian/janitor

Overview:
**Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure spaces are well-maintained
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in custodial or related roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care, buffing, industrial cleaning, and commercial cleaning practices
- Ability to clean and maintain various surfaces and materials
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Experience as a porter or custodian in a similar environment is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
