**Chiropractic Office Manager**

Dr. Nicole Shutko Chiropractic/Health Choice Rehabilitation Center, located in the Garden Oaks/ Heights area of Houston, is seeking a motivated Chiropractic Office Manager to join the team. The office is known for our friendly, outgoing, and professional staff which begins with this critical position.
**Chiropractic Office Manager**
This critical role will work with our doctors and their staff to ensure they have an efficiently running practice.
Duties include, but are not limited to, organization and the utilization of common office programs, data entry, assistance with patient care, health insurance verification and interpretation, collections, billing, scheduling, and other duties required to run this office.
Some experience in healthcare and ability to multi-task is preferred.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage day-to-day operations of chiropractic billing; including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable
- Ensure timely submission of claims and follow-up on outstanding claims.
- Schedule patients, answer phones, stay knowledgeable on patient's treatment plan
- Follow up for patient retention
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated process management skills
- Coordinate, track and reporting of key metrics / measurements related to billing efficiency
- Ability to work independently and with some late evenings and weekend hours necessary.
- Ability to jump from "high profile" projects to "digging a trench" type projects without missing a beat and maintaining enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Assist in Administrative functions, as needed
Basic responsibilities include:
- Greet patients and scheduling
- Collect payment, verify insurance, and data entry
- Confident in presenting treatment plans and selling services
- Enthusiastic approach to customer service
- Ability to multi-task
- Building and maintaining relationships with patients
- Cheerful demeanor
- Maintain the cleanliness of the office and organization of workplace
**Resume Required**.
High School Diploma, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent. Must have extensive knowledge of insurance benefits, collections, authorizations, and pre-certifications. Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience within chiropractic, wellness or alternative medicine preferred. General knowledge / exposure to billing and practice management software

**Salary: Salary commensurate with experience**
