Our **Award Winning Client**, recognized for its exemplary national healthcare services, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for their Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role is an integral part of our weekend program, demanding night shifts. The ICU comprises 4 beds, where registered nurses collaborate closely with on-site hospitalist physicians to deliver superior patient care.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver direct patient care to individuals with critical illnesses.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team collaborations to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain precise patient documentation and adhere to healthcare regulations.
- Administer critical care techniques and monitor patient vitals.
- Ensure patient safety and provide emotional support to patients and families.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care experience.
- Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ASN).
- Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification within 2 years of hire.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Three years of current critical care RN experience.
