Painter/drywall

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Painter/Drywaller to join our team. This is a 1099 contract position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Remove old paint or wallpaper using scrapers or heat guns
- Repair damaged DRYWALL
- Use power tools and equipment such as airless paint sprayers
- Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Painter/Drywaller
- Strong knowledge of painting and drywall techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Skills**:

- Drywall repair and installation
- Experience with power tools and equipment
- Painting experience
- Frame carpentry skills for trim work and preparation
- Experience in remodeling and building projects is helpful

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
