**WHO WE ARE**: High Point Christian School was founded in 1975 as a ministry of what is now High Point Church, a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship serving the greater Madison area. Throughout our humble beginnings with merely 30 students, to now having over 250, our classes have always been rooted in our mission to develop students who are committed disciples of Jesus Christ through the use of an excellent, comprehensive, Biblically-integrated education program. **LOCATION**: We are located on Madison's west side, near multiple businesses and residential areas. Our location also has convenient access to bus lines, the beltline, and bike trails. Our beltline access connects most nearby neighborhoods and towns by 10-15 minutes Madison consistently ranks among the best in the nation for almost everything including fantastic bike trails, safe neighborhoods, great healthcare, excellent education, amazing music venues and diverse restaurants.

**SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS**:

- Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior
- Believe that the Bible is God's word and standard for faith and daily living
- Be in agreement with High Point Church's Statement of Faith and HPCS' Christian Philosophy of education
- Strive to be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions towards others

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Show evidence of Christian maturity
- Have a strong grasp of the essence of Christian education, specifically for early childhood education
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an _accredited_ college or university. If the bachelor's degree _is not_ in early childhood education/child development, _one_ of the following must be met in addition to an accredited degree:

- 6 college credits or 120 clock hours of early childhood/child development
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential administered by the Council for Professional Development and documented experience working in an early education program
- Annual Professional Growth Plan to meet early childhood educator qualifications-_coursework provided_
- Must hold _or_ be eligible to obtain an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) teaching certification
- Have excellent written and verbal communication
- Basic understanding of computer systems and technology

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
**BENEFITS AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Salary - $34,000.00 - $50,000.00; commensurate with experience, pro-rated to FTE if part-time

- Professional development provided to support teachers in continuing education and accreditation requirements
- Course curriculum will be provided for this program and resources to support classroom instruction will also be provided
