R+L Carriers is currently seeking a Collections Specialist remote out of our Montebello, CA Service Center. The Collections Specialist position will be responsible for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, which may include a variety of collection techniques, legal claims, and the selective use of outside collection services.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Review multiple billing queues to determine credit, authorize collect shipments and identify necessary billing changes.
- Coordinate necessary billing changes with Corrections.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts for resolution assistance as needed.
- Taking driver and customer calls
- Taking credit card payments
- Answering phones Other duties as assigned.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Must be computer literate
- Must be professional, self-motivated, energetic, and have excellent attendance.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be result-oriented and solution-driven.
