Job Description Summary

This position manages the human resource and payroll operations of the department and assists the grants management staff with post award salary management.

**Job Description**:
1. Human Resources

. Prepare and process hiring paperwork

. Maintain and track faculty, staff, and student salary distributions

. Manage recruitment and hiring of international scholars; prepare visa paperwork

. Prepare faculty hiring, appointment, and reappointment paperwork

. Coordinate appointment process for Postdocs

. Process weekly and work-study payroll

2. Grant Administration:
. Create and update salary grids

. Prepare and enter payroll reallocations

. Run BEN/Business object reports

. Prepare quarterly and semiannual effort reports

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years business experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree preferred. Experience with grant accounting. Must have excellent spreadsheet, and written and interpersonal communication skills. Workday training strongly preferred. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
