Purchasing Analyst

**Purchasing Analyst, Medusa Distribution - Roseland, NJ**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Formulates strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross
- functional partners
- Analyze reports, proposals, and other data to review inventory levels
- Monitor and follow applicable laws & regulations
- Inspect and maintain purchases within a data system
- Reconcile invoices & bill of ladings with Purchase Orders to ensure that there are no discrepancies; work with Vendors/Suppliers to rectify any discrepancies that are identified
- Work with vendors on new product launches to gather information to aid in the creation of products within internal systems
- Procure products and materials from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
- Special assignments may occur based on company and departmental needs

**Desired Qualifications**:

- At least one year of purchasing analyst experience, required
- Highschool diploma or equivalent, required
- College degree, preferred but not required
- Software experience with: Monday, Slack, Excel, Metabase a plus

**Job Type**: Full Time, This position is inhouse with opportunities to work from home.

**Schedule**:Monday thru Friday 9AM-5PM

**Salary**: Competitive salary, commensurate to experience $50,000-60,000
