Lab Helper

**The Clinical Research Management Office of the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine, Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) is currently recruiting for a contractual Lab Research Tech Assistant working 3 days/week on a flexible schedule.**

The **Lab Research Tech Assistant** will:

- Maintain and organize research kits and shippers’ in East Hall
- Enter or remove research kits on a daily basis using SLOPE tracking software
- Bring boxes containing research kits to East Hall from the main hospital using a package dolly or four wheeled cart
- Break down expiring kits and dispose of contents per hospital guidelines
- Work with lab manager on kits inventory 4 times per year
- Other related job duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
EDUCATION: Associates degree in a biological, chemical science, or related degree.

Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
