**Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum)**:
$54.400 - $67.470 - $80.540

The stated pay scale reflects the range as defined by the collective bargaining agreement between Sharp HealthCare and Sharp Professional Nurses Network, United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals, NUHHCE, AFSME, AFL-CIO. Placement within the range is based on years of RN experience.

**What You Will Do**

As experienced RNs who are new to acute care and progressive care, you will participate in an 8 week - Transition in Practice orientation program that will provide nursing skills lab/simulation and a mentorship process to enhance your nursing competencies and advance your career. **Hours (**Specific to Hospitals/Open Positions)
Full-time; 12-hour shift; Day Shift and Night Shift; including every other weekend

**Required Qualifications**
- Graduate of nursing school.
- 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED

**Applications for our June 2024 Transition in Practice 8 Week Training Program will be accepted on the following dates**:
**Monday, April 29th, at 5pm PST, through Monday, May 13th, at 5pm PST.**

**Start dates for these programs are June 5th, 2024 for new hires and June 9th, for transfers.**

**Sharp Grossmont Hospital GI/GU Telemetry/PCU 3E**
- _ Additional Preferred Qualifications: _PCCN
- _ Purpose of Unit_: Specializes in providing care for a variety of medical and surgical patients, including but not limited to gastrointestinal and urinary patient populations
- _ Top 5 Diagnoses_: Abdominal pain, post-surgical/post-procedural, liver related disease processes, UTI, sepsis
- _ Number of Beds_: 37

**Sharp Grossmont Hospital Neuroscience PCU 5E**
- _ Additional Required Certifications: _NIHSS
- _ Additional Preferred Qualifications: _SCRN or PCCN
- _ Purpose of Unit_: Sharp Grossmont is the only Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center in East County and in the Sharp Health System. This unit is the designated neuro/stroke progressive care unit
- _ Top 5 Diagnoses_: CVA, TIA, peripheral vascular disease, hypertensive urgency, diabetes mellitus
- _ Number of Beds_: 37

**Sharp Grossmont Hospital Pulmonary/CHF Telemetry/PCU 4E**
- _ Additional Preferred Qualifications: _PCCN
- _ Purpose of Unit_: Provides care for telemetry patients, primarily specializing in pulmonary failure, congestive heart failure, and renal failure
- _ Top 5 Diagnoses_: Heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, renal failure, coronary artery disease
- _ Number of Beds_: 37

**Sharp Grossmont Hospital Oncology Progressive Care Unit 2E**
- _Additional Preferred Qualifications_: PCCN, OCN. CMSRN, Med-surg-BC
- _ Purpose of Unit_: 2 East is a Progressive Care Unit that specializes in Oncology, Palliative Care, End of Life, Advanced Illness Management, and geriatric care (NICHE).
- _ Top 5 Diagnoses:_ PNA, DM, UTI, different CA dx, sepsis, and other wide range of diagnoses
- _ Number of Beds:_ 37

**Sharp Grossmont Hospital 2N 2S 1S Innovations Units**:

- _ Additional Preferred Qualifications: N/A_
- _ Purpose of Unit_: 2N is a semi-private unit with overflow progressive care patients. We see a variety of diagnosis. We are the innovations unit with outside the box thinking. 2S/1S are ICU Step-Down units serving higher acuity patients. Types of patients can include but not limited to sepsis chronic respiratory failure. Mechanical ventilation titratable drips etc
