Couture Patternmaker

“Manhattan-based Couture House looking for an experienced and dedicated Part-time Patternmaker with 5+ years of experience. Primarily focused on evening and bridal wear with a strong knowledge of all garments including jackets and suits. Works well under pressure and with deadlines. A highly organized and solution-oriented team player with the ability to delegate and manage.

**Duties**:

- Understanding of development from sketches to muslin with the ability to interpret into first sample pattern.
- Perform quality checks on all finished products to ensure they meet the required standards
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Collaborate with team to meet production goals

**Experience**:

- Fluent knowledge of couture construction and custom garments.
- Ability to work both independently but also collaborate with the team.
- Experience in handling various types of garments and fabrics.
- Skilled in prioritizing workload based on design and production calendar dates.
- Proficiency in garment construction techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
