**ED Tech Full Time Nights Position Summary**

Provides patient care support services in the Emergency Department under the supervision of an RN.

**SPECIAL SKILLS**: Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills, knowledge of basic medical terminology required.

**THE ED TECH FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.**

**MINIMUM EDUCATION**: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

**MINIMUM EXPERIENCE**:
One year of experience in as a nursing assistant; or in lieu of experience,

Current CNA certificate, or LNA license from the Arizona State Board of Nursing; or

Completed block one/first year of nursing school; or

Current EMT-B certification; or

Completion of formal PCA/T/ED Tech education program from an accredited institution.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**: Six months experience in a hospital or emergency room setting as a Unit Secretary, EMT or CNA.

**REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE**: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or meet minimum experience requirements; CPR.

**PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION**: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), CPR.
