Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kennel Manager to join our team as a morning shift manager (5am
- 2pm). As a Kennel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kennel facility, ensuring the well-being and care of all animals in our care. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise kennel staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kennel areas
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Coordinate feeding schedules and dietary requirements for each animal
- Provide exercise and playtime for dogs in our facility
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, including medical treatments, vaccinations, and behavior observations
- Communicate with clients regarding their pets' well-being and provide exceptional customer service

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility, with preference for experience working in a dog training facility
- Knowledge of basic animal husbandry, care and terminology
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing
