Principal Associate, Tech College Learning Program Manager

As a member of the Tech College team, the Principal Associate, Tech College Learning Program Manager will be responsible for partnering closely with key business partners in Capital One’s Tech organizations to deliver practical and immersive tech learning experiences. This role will partner closely with the leaders, instructional designers, software engineers and tech associates, and other stakeholders to deliver and implement engaging learning experiences for several signature Tech College learning programs. Our dedicated learning team works with a group of highly engaged partners to envision and deliver the future of Tech training at Capital One.
- Has excellent project management skills
- Has experience delivering dynamic immersive learning experiences, with a particular focus on cohort learning / program experiences
- Has experience driving communications with participants and presenters to keep them apprised of important details and developments
- Communicates with a variety of audiences with a dynamic and conversational style in both written and verbal channels
- Has an eye for detail and a keen ability to organize, move, select, synthesize, summarize and edit information to make it effective
- Builds trust-based relationships with clients to foster credibility throughout the team

Key Responsibilities
- Provide program management to the Tech College development programs
- Partner with business leaders, vendors, HR Tech and learning stakeholders across the organization to manage the tech backlog and feature requests.
- Partner with the learning design team on continuous improvement of the curriculum
- Engage with tech leaders across company to ensure consistently positive experience for program’s associates
- Focus on delivering efficient, reliable, resilient, scalable and high performing solutions
- Work on individual and team projects, own and solve problems and partner to design and implement new processes
- Measure impact. You will identify the meaningful measurement for the tech programs

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 2 years of experience in learning and development
- At least 1 year of experience in Project or Program Management or a combination
- At least 1 year of experience in client consulting

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in Agile teams
- 3+ years of experience in learning and development
- 2+ years of experience in project management
- 2+ years of experience in learning event planning
- Process or Project Management Certification
