Choir Instructor

We are looking for an experienced music instructor to teach music and choir to elementary aged (4th-6th) students. The music instructor will follow the guidelines as set out by Indigo Arts, which includes classes during and after school.

To be successful as a music instructor, you should create an enjoyable learning environment to inspire young minds and help them grow in appreciation of music.
Music Instructor Responsibilities:

- Teaching general styles of music.
- Teaching singing to students in an ensemble/choir, starting at the beginner level.
- Planning and implementing a program of instruction and lesson plans.
- Preparing students for school concerts and planned music experiences.
- Inspiring and motivating students to extend themselves to after school classes.
- Building relationships and mentoring students.

Music Teacher Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in music, education, music education, performance, or equivalent experience.
- Teaching experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Plays piano or guitar

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour
