**EXPERIENCED SECURITY SUPERVISORS/AUDITORS NEEDED**

**Compensation: TBD - DOE**

**Employment type: CONTRACT - 1099**

We are seeking reliable, experienced and licensed Armed Security Officers with supervisory background, or previous Law Enforcement background in Northern Virginia and D.C. area.

Selected individuals will support all areas in their security needs and be an integral part of the team and job sites. Establish working relationships with officers and local police and fire departments. Demonstrate and abide by DC MD VA Security Service Core Values and the operating principles set forth, while maintaining 100% compliance with all staff training. Observe and report activities and incidents providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Security Officers must possess and maintain a professional image and must demonstrate strong leadership skills.

**RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES**:

- Supervisor/Auditor will have a mostly same schedule each week; Actual working hours will vary anywhere from 40 to 50 hours per week). Supervisor/Auditor will work and audit Officers in different fields - i.e., Hospitality, Medical, Diplomatic, Residential, Commercial, Retail and etcetera - Supervisor/Auditor must have great writing and communication skills as well as great customer service because of different field work requirements.

- Demonstrate proficiency in knowledge of the facility.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities and assist as needed.
- Supervise daily activities of assigned security staff.
- Provide effective post order training to security staff.
- Administer facility security program and implement security procedures and guidelines.
- Work closely and establish working relationships with law enforcement agency personnel.
- Monitor crowd behavior and maintain/restore crowd control throughout job sites.
- Secure assigned post locations.
- “Observe and Report” all incidents and accidents. Confront and resolve incidents to a successful conclusion. Identify and eject spectators as per customer guidelines and complete all incident reports.
- Be diligent and vigilant in security and safety awareness.
- Enforce DC MD VA Security Services Uniform and Appearance Policy.
- Develop and recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention based on reports of incidents, accidents, and other relevant information.
- Ensure that the safety program is followed and implement security/safety improvements that benefit the company’s assets, visitors, tenants, and employees as directed.
- These functions are not limited to these listed and may be expanded upon at any time, however it will be mutually agreed upon.
- Visiting sites on a weekly basis and reporting to superior regarding the performances, working condition, uniform requirements and etcetera.
- Being available for work 24/7/365.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
Screening:

- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screening where required; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
- Security, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain a VA State Security Officer license (DCJS) and DC S/O or SPO.

Knowledge:

- High School Diploma and/or equivalent.
- Five (5) or more years supervisory experience.
- **State Officer license is required.**:

- CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.
