Autocad Draftsperson

Larsens is one of the top producers of race canopies in the U.S. We pride ourselves in maintaining the highest quality product and service. Our office and production shop are casual, yet profesional. Working remotely is a possibility for one or two days a week once fully trained in our processes.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team building canopies for the race car industry. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD design software. You will collaborate with designers and engineers to translate their concepts into detailed visual representations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong drafting skills and a passion for design.

**Duties**:

- Create detailed drawings and plans of canopies and other fabric structures using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements
- Review and analyze technical specifications, sketches, and rough drafts
- Incorporate design changes and modifications as needed
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings
- Import and convert designs from other software

Qualifications:

- Experience as a Drafter or similar role preferred - recent grads encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and other drafting tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in drafting work
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 45 per week
