Environmental Technician

Join our team Impact Environmental is a Long Island/NJ based environmental consulting firm with 35 years of success. We are in search of a Field Technician with 2+ years of environmental experience to join our Long Island, NY team.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years' experience performing field sampling (e.g., soil, soil vapor and groundwater).
- Air monitoring and oversight a plus.
- Adaptability and willingness to adjust to client needs.
- Travel to NYC and the 5 boroughs.
- Team oriented, safety conscious, individual with good communication skills, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to exercise professional judgment, consistency and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around construction sites.
- Able to pass a background, motor vehicle, and drug screen.

Construction background a plus

OSHA 40 hour (HAZWOPER) and/or OSHA 10/30 hour (Construction Safety) certifications a plus.
