Painter Helper

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Masking surfaces to prevent paint from getting on them.
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as scraping, sanding, and priming and caulking.
- Back rolling walls after painter sprays them.
- Cleaning painting tools
- Occasionally rolling paint on walls to help.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

**Experience**:

- Learning the names of hand tools and how to use them.
- Cleaning tools used throughout the day.
- Using power tools
- Proficiency in caulking techniques
- Returning tools to correct spot at the end of the day and organizing trailer.
- Back rolling walls after painter applies paint.

This position offers the opportunity to quickly grow in job titles and pay.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
