**ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Installation of low voltage (50 VAC and under) control wiring
- Installation of network communication wiring
- Installation of conduit up to 1” in diameter
- Installation of building automation hardware such as device controllers, sensors, panels, actuators, thermostats, etc.
- Assembly of control panels
- Efficiency at reading construction blueprints and controls drawings.
- Understanding and reading wiring diagrams.
- Interpretation of sequence of operations of controls systems.
- Effective communication with the jobsite foreman, and other team leaders.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:

- Possess good customer service skills.
- Leadership and communication skills a plus.
- Basic understanding of BAS Controls group processes and methods.
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of commercial/light industrial plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems
- Ability to work from heights greater than 10 feet and obtain certification in lift usage.
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School diploma or equivalent; Trade related technical school a plus.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in the mechanical electrical industry.
- Must be familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screenings.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
