The _**_Bill Foeller Fellowship_**_ is awarded to an early-career femme-identified and/or BIPOC director who is seeking a boost to their career. Named for the late Bill Foeller, a director who worked at the Festival in 1997, the fellowship was established by his close friends Lewis Black and Gaylen Ross. _Details about this Fellowship are as follows:

- Assigned to assist Andrew Russell, director of DRAGON MAMA, to be presented on the CenterStage as part of the 2024 WTF Season. Fellow will assist with and observe the professional rehearsal/production process of the show.
- Fellow will cast and direct a reading with a one day rehearsal process, to be presented by the Festival in the fall of 2024 in New York City.
- Fellow agrees to embrace the Festival’s commitment to EDIA and Anti-racism by actively participating in and encouraging behaviors among participants members that exemplify respect; interrupting microaggressions and other behaviors that hinder our EDIA and Anti-racism efforts; engaging in the diversification of the festival; demonstrating a degree of cultural competency that encourages healthy relationships with all company members.
- Fellow is expected to complete the production process learning in-person in Williamstown, MA, and be in NYC for the reading of their directed work in the fall.
- Production Dates:

- Tuesday, June 18th - 1st Rehearsal
- Wednesday, June 27th - Tech Rehearsal begins
- Tuesday, July 2nd - 1st Performance
- Friday, July 5th - AEA Opening
- Sunday, July 14th - Closing

**Materials will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, but we strongly encourage you to submit them by May 1, 2024. Fellows will receive a stipend of $1,000/week.
